The Nokia Lumia 630 offers a good deal on paper. But does it deliver in real-life?
The Nokia Lumia 630 has been made official by the company. The Dual-SIM smartphone has been given a price tag of Rs. 11,500, making it an option worth considering in its segment.
While reviews are yet to to start trickling, some journalists have got the chance to play around with the device for a bit. Did they come out impressed? We bring you the roundup of the first impressions of the Lumia 630.
The design on the Lumia 630 is in line with the designing philosophy of Nokia. Chris Martin at PC Advisor says that although the phone felt nice in his hand, it didn’t feel “particularly premium.” Sean Gallagher at Ars Technica believes that the phone is light and feels sturdy.
The folks at Pocket-lint felt that the display was “punchy enough with some great colours” but added that the low-resolution device is comparitvely softer than devices with a better pixel count. The reviewer also praised the good viewing angles.
Most reviewers were disappointed by the fact that Nokia had ditched the physical camera shutter button. PC Advisor called it a shame and Pocket-lint conceded that it was a minor inconvenience.
The geeks at Engadget came out impressed with the performance of the device. The phone felt snappier than expected given its humble Snapdragon 400 chipset and 512 MB of RAM.
We will have to wait to get a complete insight into the device. At an attractive price tag, we hope it is able to deliver a decent experience. Stay tuned for the review.
